Title – The Legend of the Goddess Sita and the Golden Deer

Description- My drawing depicts an important scene from the epic- Ramayan when Maricha disguised himself as a Golden Deer to charm Sita Mata. Goddess Sita gets attracted to its golden glow and urges Shree Ram to fetch it for her. After this Ravana abducts Sita Mata to his kingdom, Lanka.
Ramayana Art Project by Khula Aasmaan (खुला आसमान)
This project by Khula Aasmaan (खुला आसमान) involved a painting contest on Ramayana. Children, young adults as well as people of all ages were invited to paint characters, incidents and landscapes from the epic Ramayana. This painting competition received a fantastic response. We are happy to have received beautiful artworks that have been shortlisted from this painting contest.
We requested the shortlisted artists to record a short audio to talk about their artwork. We have received these audios. Happy to share these wonderful narrations by these talented artists about their art in the form of videos and audios.
