What is special about October to December quarter?

This is a special quarter for us as the first quarterly contest of Khula Aasmaan was announced in October 2016. We are delighted and humbled at the tremendous response we have received from all the children, college students, parents and teachers, across the country and beyond. We would also like to mention here that all this would not have been possible without the unconditional support from so many friends, well wishers, supporters, donors and sponsors.

This time we were flooded with a large number of entries, far more than the usual number. This delayed the judging process. As we were getting ready to declare the shortlist towards end March 2020, a national lockdown was declared due to the unusual circumstances arising out of Covid-19 pandemic. Our office had to be shut like everybody else and the declaration of the shortlist got delayed further.

Happy to welcome international students to Khula Aasmaan international free art competition

This quarter of October to December 2019, will be remembered for another important reason. This time we have entries to Khula Aasmaan international free art competition from countries such as Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, Canada and Tanzania. The entries from within India show tremendous diversity as has been the hallmark of all Khula Aasmaan art competitions from its inception.
