Khula Aasmaan international online art competition
Khula Aasmaan international online painting competition for April to June 2020 is happening at an exceptionally unique and challenging time in the history of mankind. The unprecedented pandemic caused by Covid-19 has created an atmosphere of fear, panic and uncertainty. This is no ordinary threat to the society at large. This is an existential threat to humankind on a scale never seen before. This virus knows no boundaries, no religion, no country. It is engineered to spread rapidly and cause havoc.
How have we responded ?
Indiaart and Khula Aasmaan announced a unique contest on the very next day after the national lockdown in India was announced to tackle Covid-19 pandemic. This was a special lockdown contest which aimed at taking on the threat of coronavirus by hope and positivity. We urged everyone to combat the atmosphere of fear and panic caused by Covid-19, with hope and positivity through creativity. This contest received a wonderful response. Select artworks from this contest are being posted on our social media pages and blog. See the day wise blog posts featuring select artworks received on that particular day of the lockdown.
