Indiaart and Khula Aasmaan announced an art project titled “Art in the time of coronavirus – hope and positivity through creativity“, supported by Finolex Industries and Mukul Madhav Foundation. This art initiative to encourage people to create art is designed to fight coronavirus pandemic. We believe that hope and positivity through creativity is the answer to the challenge posed by the uncertain times and the lockdown to fight coronavirus pandemic. Kiran on his art:
I wanted to do an art work with pencil which would reflect the indomitable spirit of science against a formidable adversary which has brought the world on its knees. I dedicated this to the scientific community working on a vaccine.
Kiran about himself:
I am Dr. Kiran Kharat.  I am 55 years old  with no training in art whatsoever. I am a joint replacement surgeon by profession. I believe in perseverance and hope.

Gauhar about herself :
I am Gauhar Dhir, a 16 year old female, studying in grade 10, in Pune, Maharashtra. I have always been inclined towards creative fields like painting, sketching, dancing and choreography. I portray my interests, thoughts and imaginations through my sketches and paintings. I believe that through painting and sketching one may achieve peace, positivity and happiness. I usually make the use of charcoal pencils for sketches and poster colours for paintings.
