Art by Ankita Koyande, Mumbai

Title: Tapri vali chai!
This was made from Quilling paper strip
(Silver, skin, white and dark green paper strips)
Other than this quilling needle and glue was used to make this artwork. This is a miniature art work.
This art has a special place in my heart as it was dedicated to my Tapri wali chai when I was at hostel. I have just completed my MBA but due to an abrupt end to our college life I was not able to bid adieu to my friends. We won’t be giving our exams as they stand cancelled. We won’t be able to get together as a batch together until our convocation. So this was just a remembrance for my chai friends and everyone else I had met during my 2 years of MBA life.
Painting by Priya Das, Muzaffarpur, Bihar

Title :- Beyond Emotions
Medium:- Oil pastels
Size :- A3
Originally from Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Priya is presently a student of Daulat Ram College, Delhi University.
Priya on herself and her art in lockdown :
Being a Delhi University student I have explored a lot of things here and the best thing is about the platform to showcase our talents… I love to do paintings and sketching and it was missing in the past one month.. During this quarantine I was very frustrated not because of the complete shutdown but because of the missing platform and Indiaart gave me this opportunity to do art in lockdown and bring out something better rather than sitting idle. This woman has a lot to say and only we can see or hear her story by her magical blend of emotions in her eyes.
Stay Home, Stay Safe – painting by P. Rishab (11 years)

Painting by Sakshi Uparkar

I am Sakshi Uparkar. I am doing my engineering now but art is my hobby and I like to draw in my free time. Here, I painted a madhubani painting using poster colours. This is my first attempt of trying a madhubani painting. I used an A4 size paper cut in a square shape. I hope you like it.
Art by Shreya Singh

Title: Together against corona
Medium: Digital Art
Shreya on herself and her art :
I am a software engineer by profession and live in Delhi. I love to draw in my free time and try to express my feelings through digital art, hand sketching, paintings, calligraphy, graffiti (basically, I use any medium and concepts which pops up in my head). I also strongly believe that the art should be in very simple visuals, language and illustration to express one’s thoughts.I have attached the pictures in a sequence of the flow of this short story. Hope you like this.
