चित्र काढण्यासाठी रेखाटनाचा सराव खूप महत्वाचा असतो. असा सराव करण्यासाठी घरी असलेल्या वेगवेगळ्या आकारांच्या वस्तू समोर ठेवून त्यांचे रेखाटन करावे. या व्हिडिओमध्ये ( वस्तुचित्र व्हिडिओ ) कपाचे चित्र काढून दाखवले आहे. यासाठी पेन्सिल व तैलखडू वापरले आहेत. कपाच्या आकाराचे निरीक्षण करून, त्याचे पेन्सिलीने रेखाटन करून घ्यावे. या कपाचा आकार समअंगी आहे.फक्त त्याचा कान मात्र एकाच बाजूला आहे. समअंगी म्हणजे दोन्ही बाजूनी सारखा आकार असणे. पेन्सिलीवर जास्त दाब न देता हलक्या हाताने चित्र काढावे. रंगवायला सुरुवात करताना वस्तूवर पडलेल्या छाया प्रकाशाचे प्रथम निरीक्षण करावे. छाया आणि प्रकाश दाखवल्यामुळे वस्तू त्रिमित (3D ) दिसू लागते. उजेडातील रंगछटा व सावलीतील रंगछटा तयार करण्यासाठी तैलखडूंचे एकमेकात मिश्रण करून त्रिमित परिणाम कसा मिळवता येतो हे या व्हिडिओत बघायला मिळते. तुम्हीसुद्धा तुमच्या घरी सहज मिळणाऱ्या वस्तू समोर मांडून त्यांचे चित्र काढण्याचा सराव करा.
