Painting Competition video and pictures
Art competition for children and college students was jointly organised by Khula Aasmaan and IISER Pune on 16 November 2019. The occasion for this unique national painting contest was the fact that 2019 happens to be the 150th anniversary since Dmitry Mendeleev discovered the Periodic System. The year 2019 has been proclaimed “International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements” (IYPT2019). See the painting competition video apart from painting competition pictures :

The Periodic Table of Chemical Elements is one of the most significant achievements in science, capturing the essence not only of chemistry, but also of physics and biology. It is a unique tool, enabling scientists to predict the appearance and properties of matter on the Earth and in the rest of the Universe.
