Drawing & Painting Competition to mark Science Day 2020
Science Park at Savitribai Phule Pune University jointly with Khula Aasmaan organised a painting competition for children on 8th February 2020, which is the foundation day of the university. There was an enthusiastic participation by children from several schools. Children enjoyed their painting session at the university garden. The painting competition topics were related to environment, plants, trees, flowers and forests.

Khula Aasmaan (means – Open Sky) is a platform for creative expression by children (5 to 15 years) and young adults (16 to 25 years). Khula Aasmaan conducts contests and creates content for children, college students, parents and teachers. Khula Aasmaan is free and open 24 x 7.
Milind Vishwas Sathe is the founder of Art India Foundation, a non profit organisation, which runs "Khula Aasmaan" as its flagship project. Khula Aasmaan is a platform for creative expression by children. Khula Aasmaan is free.
Milind also runs Indiaart Gallery, the art portal www.indiaart.com and New Media Ventures which is a consulting firm in the area of digital strategy. He is an avid photographer and a blogger. His active interests include travel, photography, cycling, history, media and social transformation projects.
