Young artist Manali Bhagwat talks about her painting

This painting by young artist Manali Bhagwat (16 years) is a social commentary on the obsession of shooting a selfie wherever we go and whatever may be the occasion. This painting was awarded a silver medal in Khula Aasmaan painting competition for January to March 2020. The story of this painting is very interesting. When Manali went to attend a marriage ceremony, she found that everyone was busy shooting selfies. This incident is the subject of her painting, which is a satire and a social commentary on this obsessive behaviour of selfie obsession at all places and at all times.
