Disability painting by Naina Somani
Disability, painting by Naina Somani (22 years) from Udaipur, Rajasthan, won a gold medal in Khula Aasman (खुला आसमान) international online art competition for October to December 2020. This painting is about the emotions of a son and his father, who is himself a handicapped (divyang) person. Despite being in this situation, he takes care of his son by carrying his child in his hands even when he himself is in a wheelchair. I have depicted some faces which are filled with sadness and grief.
